It has a 26" barrel.
It was manufactured in 1889.
The rifle comes with the Cody Museum Letter of Authenticity.
The rifle was professionally restored.
The wood work was done by Marc Thompson who has restored several firearms for the Smithsonian Institute.
The action was re-color case hardened by Doug Turnbull.
The rifle is in excellent condition.
Included with the rifle is the Lyman #2 Tang Sight.
The Lyman #2 Tang Sight is new unused in the original box with paperwork and has not been installed on the rifle.
There are no extra holes drilled in the rifle.
C&R should be O.K. for this one.

I have alot of ammo to go with this rifle. the reason for selling is because i am leaving for recruit depot training for the marine core in a little under three months and i want to get a gun i am going to be shooting down there so i cam comfortable. so if you have an ar 15 i will be interested in making a trade or working something out. This rifle has maybe been shot 10-15 times i know of since we have had it. the barrel is an origional springfeild barrell. the action is in great shape.has the origional wood stock.
