| Colt Colt U.S. Army Model of 1911, Original, Made 1917 This is a very desirable and sought after unmolested all original condition Colt made U.S. Army model 1911 pistol in .45 ACP caliber. This U.S. Property marked WW I pistol has a serial number of 159183; which reflects to a Colt manufactured pistol made during 1917. This sought after WW I era US pistol was brought in and sold by the great grandson of the original service member it was issued to; and, unfortunately he would not document the family history. As found with these Colt pistols, the finish clearly shows that it was stored in a GI holster, with the top of the slide having a few minor blemishes and a bit of staining, the rest of the slide blue turning brown and the bluing to the grip strap very thin or void. | Colt SAA .45 Colt, Made 1882 Here's a significant piece of U.S. Military history and a wonderful piece of Americana. A Colt Single Action Army "U.S. Cavalry" revolver manufactured in 1882 for the United States military. A later "DFC" inspected gun with matching serial numbers. The barrel still measures the original 7-1/2" in length and was never modified to "Artillery" length as so many were. Overall condition is good but little original finish remains. The revolver is mostly a silver/brown with some scattered areas of light pitting. The "U.S." marking and patent dates on the frame are all crisply marked as is the proper rollmarking along the top of the barrel. The grips are sound and original. They are "D.F.C." | Colt - Rare!! Adams Express Co Colt Police Positive For sale is an Adams Express Company Colt Police Positive 38S&W. These guns are quite rare. It has about 80% of its blueing left with most of the missing bluing from the right side, as it layed in an attic for 50 years. It is as tight as the day it was made and shoots well. On the backstrap is "Property of Adams Express Company", placed by colt. On the bottom of the grip is "No. 869". I beleive this was an Adams Express inventory number and was placed by Colt. There is a small chip off the right side grip. This is a great gun and peice railroad history. This is a quite rare gun! Most people have never seen an Adams Express gun.
There is a 3-day non-firing review of the gun.

the same gun as the 1877 Lightning which was offered in several caliber choices.
