| Feature Firearm: Winchester Earliest known Winchester 20ga. w/Madis letter It seems that when it comes to Winchester collecting, it is difficult to find a piece that is TRULY unique. In 1878, with its name firmly established in the rifle trade, Winchester decided that it was time to get into the shotgun market. With no in-house facilities to produce shotguns, Winchester contracted with English gunmakers to produce the very first shotguns to carry the Winchester name. Less than 1500 of these English doubles were produced. Of this number, only 3 guns are known to exist with gauges other than 12 or 10; one is a 16 gauge and two are 20 gauges. | Winchester Winchester Model 1886 45.70 You are viewing a Winchester Model 1886 in 45.70.
It has a 26" barrel.
It was manufactured in 1889.
The rifle comes with the Cody Museum Letter of Authenticity.
The rifle was professionally restored.
The wood work was done by Marc Thompson who has restored several firearms for the Smithsonian Institute.
The action was re-color case hardened by Doug Turnbull.
The rifle is in excellent condition.
Included with the rifle is the Lyman #2 Tang Sight.
The Lyman #2 Tang Sight is new unused in the original box with paperwork and has not been installed on the rifle.
There are no extra holes drilled in the rifle.
C&R should be O.K. for this one.

| Winchester Model 21 Skeet, 20 gauge This Model 21 Skeet is in very good condition. The bores are perfect. The bluing is nearly perfect. There are a few dings in the wood here and there, but nothing major. The barrels are 28 inches. The chokes read WS1 & WS2. The serial # is 28101 and is stamped on everything it should be - meaning, this gun is all original. It was made in 1953.
If interested, get in touch. I will entertain partial trades, but I'm not looking for collectibles. Also, in regards to a partial trade, you'll need to come up with around $5k along with whatever you want to throw in to make up the difference. I like 1911's in .45acp. I like 9mm's.
